Lindsay Wagner, Bionic Woman

You probably know by now that Lindsay Wagner is my all-time favorite celebrity subject. And with very good reason. Her breathtaking beauty as well as her 1970s tv hit, "The Bionic Woman" fuelled my strong desire to learn portraiture. At 15 years old, I had neither the skills nor the know-how to execute a portrait. All I had was the strong determination and inspiration from my childhood celebrity idol.So this portrait, is, yet again, a tribute to my artistic inspiration. And since June is her birth month, I thought it would be fitting to post this 12-year old deviation. My style has somewhat evolved since.

Bob is always beside me, no matter what Just one of many oil paintings I've been doing lately. I have one question though, what does the background look like to you? It's supposed to be mountains, and most people say that, but others say it's a lake or pond, and they hold strong to thier opinions, but, I had making it not look like water in mind when I made it... What do you think?

So this piece is waaay overdue. And I think it's a little obvious that I got impatient with it because the texture isn't as smooth as my other pieces. But I think I still like the way it turned out. The teeth are a little strange, but after I did it, there wasn't much I could do to fix it.As for the title, Robyn Fenty is Rihanna's first and last name, and I think Rihanna might be her middle name. I'm not sure, but I found out that her name is Robyn Fenty after the whole Chris Brown abuse episode. Color pencil on smooth bristol paper.Anyway, hope you like it.
